The Lions Club in conjunction with the Princeton ISD host the Onion Festival on the 3rd Saturday in April at Princeton High School. The festival features:

Fourth of July Spectacular
The City of Princeton host the annual 4th of July Spectacular at the J.M. Caldwell Sr. Community Park. Some of the more popular activities include:

- 5K Fun Run
- Tennis Tournament
- 3 on 3 Basketball
- Kickball Tournament
- Kids' Games and Bounce Houses
- Auction / Raffle
- Live Entertainment
